The Fight For Life Foundation, founded by PLA Board Member and former Indianapolis Colts cornerback, Marlin Jackson, worked again this year to support PLA families with its “Be a Blessing” Campaign.

The organization hosted its annual Christmas party at George and Veronica Phalen Leadership Academy and at PLA@103 to help support and serve children who participate in the organization’s Building Dreams Program.

Over 700 PLA scholars got toys for the holidays, enjoyed a pizza party, games, and activities from Jack and Jill Magazine. Jackson was also on hand to speak with scholars about his own personal story, from growing up in hard circumstances to where he is now. Scholars listened and learned from him how to persevere against the odds.
