TLJ Students Honor Warriors of Equality

This week, TLJ students worked to research and present quotes from famous people who have helped to make the world a better place for all.

The students began with Thurgood Marshall who was an was an American civil rights attorney who served as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from October 1967 until October 1991. Marshall was the Court's 96th justice and its first African-American justice. 

 The students also highlighted Dr. Patricia Bath, an American ophthalmologist, inventor, humanitarian, and academic and Cesar Chaves, an American labor leader and civil rights activist.
