To help keep our scholars on track, Thea Bowman Leadership Academy Jr/Sr High School will host Mandatory Summer School and Tutoring for select students. If assessments indicate that a scholar is not on track to pass the ISTEP/ILEARN Assessment(s) in Math or English or has more than three classes to make-up. They are required to  attend the Summer-School Tutoring Program for Math and ELA or Summer Credit Recovery courses.

Summer School begins June 24, 2019 – July 19, 2019,  (Monday through Thursday), 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Additionally, ISTEP retesting is scheduled for July 23-26 (Class of 2020 & 21 only).  

Parents must attend a brief Summer School Orientation at 8 am on June 24. We appreciate your support in our efforts to provide the best possible educational experiences for your scholar.
