Dear Parents/Guardians,

This letter is to inform you that Hope Tolson will be offering Saturday Academy to scholars begining Saturday March 15, 2025. The hours are 8:00am to 12:00 pm.  We value your scholar's education and want them to be successful here at Hope-Tolson PCS. Saturday Academy  is offered to address academic concerns due to attendance issues. We believe this is a valuable opportunity for them to improve grades, catch up on missed work, and enhance attendance. 

Here's why we're offering this opportunity:

• To provide additional support in Math and ELA and improve understanding of key concepts.
• To allow students to catch up on missed work or assignments.
• To improve student attendance and ensure consistent engagement in learning.

What to Expect at Saturday Academy:

• Students will engage in targeted instruction in Math and ELA with a focus on DC CAPE and NWEA testing prep.
• There will be opportunities for students to work on assignments and receive individualized support that will targerted their deficiences.
• We will also provide a structured small group environment for students to complete work.

Important Information:

• Location: Hope Tolson Public Charter School

   

• Transportation:

  Parents are responsible for providing transportation. 

• Snacks/Lunch:

  A light snack will be provided. Students are welcome to bring their own lunch.

  Attendance:​​​​​​​ 
• Consistent and punctual attendance is expected. Please ensure your child attends Saturday Academy. It is imperative for scholars that has missed a considerable amount of days and are in danger of rentention to take advantage of this opportunity.
