GVP Young Authors Attend Belles and Bow Ties to Showcase Their Written Work

George and Veronica Phalen Leadership Academy scholars recently showcased their published books at the 3rd Annual Belles and Bow Ties, a fundraising event hosting up to 300 guests in support of the Fight for Life Foundation.

PLA scholars presented books they wrote and illustrated titled Goals of a Second Grade Dreamer and Goals of a Third Grade Dreamer.  Their books emphasize perseverance, entrepreneurship, goals, and dreams.

This year’s Belles and Bow Ties was held at The Indianapolis Colts Gridiron Hall. The fundraiser, hosted by Former Colt Marlin Jackson, aims to bring together a diverse audience from the Greater Indianapolis area to experience a premier art affair. Attendees enjoy world-class entertainment, participate in wine and canvas and donate to Fight for Life Foundation supporting social and emotional programs for Indy’s underserved youth.

Excellent work Scholars! #KeepSoaring
