The Higher Institute of Arts and Technology (HIAT) located in Merrillville, Indiana is in the process of joining the PLA network.

HIAT is a K-7 arts-integrated charter school that originally opened in 2016 as was Merrillville’s first charter.

PLA will work with HIAT to improve school and scholar achievement and bring their collective vision for children to life.
