Week of November 27th: Hope Tolson Principal Message

Welcome Back Hope Families,

I hope that everyone had a restful and enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday. I would also like to thank

those who participated in our holiday feast this past Wednesday.  It was a huge success.  Looking ahead we planned so many wonderful things within the upcoming rest of the school year. Our teachers continuously strive to provide our children with engaging meaningful activities/lessons each day. During this month we will continue to incorporate STEAM across all curricula. We will also continue to focus with our scholars on skills such as being assertive and showing empathy towards others. Students will work on using positive self-talk.

Despite all the changes throughout the school year, one thing has remained the same- how incredibly grateful we are for the flexibility, support, and dedication of all our Hope families and staff members. The safety of our scholars continues to come first. We appreciate your patience and understanding and value you and your opinions.

December 15th is our last day of school before Winter Break, and we are certain that the next couple of weeks will pass quickly! During the break we hope that you take time to relax and spend quality time with your family. We look forward to seeing you back in January with classes resuming on January 2, 2024. We would like to wish our Hope families a very happy holiday season and even a happier New Year.  See you in 2024.

Respectfully,

Dr. Clifford Owens
